Industry placements from Barnsley College…

The aims are to get our students in their chosen profession out into the industries to learn skills, gain more experience and progress onto future career paths. We have different pathways for this such as Media, Business, Computing and many more.

Working with businesses located within The Business Village would be an amazing opportunity for our students to enhance these techniques, targets, and modules that they are learning within college to develop their skills further within a variety of different companies which are situated inside The Business Village so they can offer their experience and knowledge. We run T levels and CDF placements which are funded placements. With the T Level Placements there is a support fund for the companies in order to get the students equipment, training for staff, software etc that we can apply for.

We want to give our students the best start on their path between college and employment, and what better way to do this as a 1 day a week fully funded placement. As the students will be working on their techniques at college this will then be implemented within your company through the next generation of employers to add a new voice, develop company ideas and add diversity to your organisation.
